Job Description: We are looking for a passionate Senior PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, defining and maintaining of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You would be responsible for designing modular components, which can be reused across the platform, collaborating with other team members in delivering on the business needs. You would also be required to provide estimates and guide other team members from a technical perspective.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience PHP, OOP, UnitTesting
- Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science – advantage
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks – Laravel, Zend
- Strong knowledge of open source frameworks SOAP and REST
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Proficiency in fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, Angular and ReactJS
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Experience with Linux and Apache
- Knowledge of Agile Development environment with tools like GIT, Jira etc
- Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
- Experience in test automation and test driven development
- Experience with AWS/EC2, or other cloud services
- Linux , Apache experience
