Job Description: We are looking for two roles, a Senior & Junior Business Intelligence Manager who will be reporting to the Managing Director & Executive Chairman. The company is a rapidly growing Asset Management company based in Madrid. Your tasks will include the following:

  • Data Cleansing
  • Data Analysis
  • Data mapping & relationship generation
  • Portfolio Stratification
  • Portfolio Segmentation

Due Diligence:

  • Be an integral part of the due diligence team
  • Monitor due diligence findings and ensure due diligence data is consistent with data requirements
  • Coordinating all questions to be submitted to seller and managing relationship with seller advisors
  • Ensuring that due diligence data and findings are reflected in portfolio modelling and valuation
  • Applying due diligence findings and using due diligence data sets to enrich company knowledge on portfolio performance and portfolio management

Unsecured Portfolios:

  • Vintage curve modelling
  • Roll Rate modelling
  • Dynamic modelling to reflect cash flow impact of asset management strategies
  • Portfolio and data analysis / segmentation in order to understand portfolio behaviour in detail
  • Identify trends and improvement levers through review with appropriate internal departments of collection policies employed by DCAs collecting on the portfolios
  • Determine reporting requirements for DCAs in order to allow the business to perform the required monitoring and analysis of the portfolios under management
  • Feed back into portfolio modelling observed patterns and behaviours on portfolios under management

Secured Portfolios:

  • Understand and create relationship data structure to allow modelling of complex secured loan portfolios
  • Cash Flow model secured portfolios by applying multi factor weighted strategies (Foreclosures, Amicable, Insolvency)
  • Portfolio monitoring

Essential Requirements: The candidate must be fully fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish and be able to communicate at all levels within the company (Managing Director, Executive Chairman, Staff Business Members, Senior Stakeholders, IT Director etc).

Experience - Essential:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics or other quantitative based cursus.
  • Very high proficiency in Microsoft office suite in particular Excel and Access. Ability to use SQL a bonus.
  • Experience in consumer credit management, strategy and quantitative analysis.
  • Experience in real estate loan management.
  • Good understanding of the legal framework surrounding:
  • a. Data protection;
  • b. Consumer loans (secured/unsecured);
  • c. Corporate loans (secured/unsecured);
  • d. Knowledge and understanding of legal enforcement processes;
  • High degree of flexibility around working time.
  • Used to work under strict delivery deadlines and significant amount of pressure. Work in different work streams in parallel will be usual.
